The Dia de los Muertos celebration at the Tacoma Art Museum was, as usual, a heartfelt and colorful event! Beautiful community altars, dancers and families were all present. The museum really knows how to showcase this wonderful cultural event. It's the next best thing to actually being in Mexico...
An added bonus! Andy Warhol's "Flowers" were on display, as well. WHAT A TREAT! A must-see.
Oh - you were there for the festival! I went the day before to photograph, then on to the Art at Work Studio Tour.
