Beach Walk #1, encaustic, Copyright 2010 JonesMoore
Inspired by sea glass I recently found on the beach...carving into the wax and rubbing in pigment was especially fun. It's much more "luminous" in person. View it large (click on the photo)!
lovely! the sea glass really looks beautiful embedded. took a refresher from binky bergsman last weekend. it was great. i haven't played around in hot wax for awhile now and it was great getting back into it. i have a bunch of pieces here that need attention...more color, more texture there. will jump in soon! oxox xoox
